Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 2019 SSAC women's soccer year-end awards were announced at the awards banquet Wednesday evening.
All awards were voted on by league coaches, while Golden Boot goes to the top goal scorer in conference play and Golden Gloves goes to the top vote-getter among goalkeepers in all-conference voting.
Noteworthy
- For the RedHawks, Adisa Amang leads the league with 55 points and 22 goals, Yuki Watari is 3rd with 45 points and 16 goals and Natsuna Sugishita is 2nd in the NAIA with 20 assists to go along with 10 goals
- William Carey's Ana Paula Santos repeats as Player of the Year after totaling 13 goals and 6 assists for the second-ranked Crusaders. Valeria Miranda and Sabrina Lang lead a defense that has delivered nine shutouts and allowed more than one goal only twice, while Lang has posted a 0.62 goals against average
