UTS Blanks Dalton State, 6-0, and Faulkner, 4-0

PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern shut the door on Dalton State College on Saturday afternoon with a commanding 6-0 win.

Freshman Keito Ido was on fire, totaling four goals in the victory, as Adisa Amang added four assists for UTS. Yuki Watari added a goal and an assist, and Mackenzie Stroebel netted her first of the year with just a minute to go in the contest.

The win comes after a 4-0 victory over Faulkner University on Monday night where Ido's hot streak began. The freshman scored two goals with an assist over the Eagles, while Watari and Adisa Amang each added one to the goal tally. Amang and Sara Casey both assisted on the evening.

The FireHawks improve to 3-0 on the season, and will take to the road this weekend for two contests at the John Brown University Tournament. UTS will take on the host John Brown on Saturday, September 4th at 7:00pm, followed by a Monday matchup with Mid-America Christian at 11:00am.
