Box Score MARION, Ind. – The #7 University of Tennessee Southern women's soccer team played to a full time 0-0 draw with #14 Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday.
Indiana Wesleyan (1-0-2) controlled the first half outshooting the Firehawks 6-4. UT Southern (2-0-1) had four shots on goal in the opening period but couldn't slipone past the Wildcat keeper.
In the second half, the Firehawks would double up the Wildcats recording 8 shots. Both Laken Stockstill (2-0-1) and Avery Sluss (1-0-2) gave top notch performances tonight to keep the match tied. UT Southern led 12-10 in shots and shots on goal 9-6.
Stockstill recorded six saves in the match.

The Firehawks will travel to McKenzie, Tenn. to face rival Bethel on Tuesday, August 29th at 7:30 p.m. This will be the 30 meeting in the series, since 2005, with the Firehawks holding a 28-0-1 advantage. The lone tie occurred in McKenzie in 2009.
