PULASKI, Tenn. - The University of Tennessee Southern women's soccer team began Southern State Athletic Conference Championship play hosting the eighth seed Faulkner Eagles on Friday afternoon. The #5 team in the land scored 11 two-pointers enroute to a 11-nil quarterfinal win. The two squads met earlier in the season, on UT Southern's senior day, where the Firehawks won 17-nil. UT Southern advances to the semifinal match facing the fourth seed Mobile on November 7
th at 11 a.m.

The Firehawks will travel to the Gump, to battle Mobile in the SSAC Championship Semifinal on November 7
th. The semifinals and final will be held at Emory Folmar YMCA Complex. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. UTS defeated UM earlier in the season at Grissom Pitch 7-1.
