PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern track & field programs have announced their 2026 outdoor schedule, highlighted by four meets across Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, and culminating with the Southern States Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.
Head Coach Justin Watson enters his third season at the helm of the Firehawks program, continuing to build momentum as UT Southern prepares for a competitive spring slate.
The 2026 season opens March 20–21 at the Margaret Simmons Invite, hosted by Murray State in Murray, Kentucky. The Firehawks will then head south for the West Georgia Legends Invitational on April 3–4 in Carrollton, Georgia.
Conference championship season arrives April 20–21 as UT Southern competes in the SSAC Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championship in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The spring concludes with a final tune-up at the Lee Last Chance meet on May 9 in Cleveland, Tennessee.
