UT Southern Swimming Releases 2026-27 Schedule

Firehawks Set for Two Home Meets, AAC Championships, and a Pursuit of NAIA National Qualification

PULASKI, Tenn. – UT Southern Head Swimming Coach Jake Alexander has announced the Firehawks' 2026-27 schedule, featuring a competitive slate that includes invitationals, conference championship competition, and opportunities for the Firehawks to compete against strong regional opponents throughout the season.

The season opens Sept. 25-27 as UT Southern travels to Columbia, Kentucky, to compete in the Fall Frenzy at the Holloway Health & Wellness Center. The Firehawks will then head to Sewanee, Tennessee, on Oct. 10 for the Sewanee Relay Meet before returning to Pulaski for their first home competition of the season.

UT Southern welcomes Lindsey Wilson College to Grissom Natatorium on Oct. 24 before returning to the road for the Small College Cup Championship, scheduled for Nov. 19-21 in Columbus, Georgia. The championship meet will provide the Firehawks with an opportunity to compete against some of the top small-college programs in the nation as they prepare for the championship portion of the season.

Following the holiday break, the Firehawks return home on Dec. 5 to host Campbellsville University at Grissom Natatorium. The meet will also serve as Senior Day, as UT Southern honors its senior student-athletes for their contributions and dedication to the program.

The Firehawks return to competition in the new year at the Berry College Invite on Jan. 15-16 in Mount Berry, Georgia, before wrapping up the regular season with a road dual meet against Sewanee on Jan. 23.

UT Southern then shifts its focus to postseason competition at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, set for Feb. 11-14 in Kingsport, Tennessee. Qualifying swimmers will conclude the season at the NAIA Swimming & Diving National Championships, scheduled for March 3-7 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

"Our schedule provides our student-athletes with a strong balance of dual meets, invitationals, and championship-level competition," said Alexander. "Each event presents an opportunity for our swimmers to continue improving throughout the season and prepare for conference and national competition. We're especially excited to compete in front of our home fans and celebrate our seniors during our meet against Campbellsville. We look forward to representing UT Southern throughout the season."
