Under his guidance, Kennedy earned numerous accolades, including 2020 NAIA All-American First Team honors after recording seven shutouts and posting a .817 save percentage. She was also named to the 2019 All-Region Team and earned Mid-South Conference First Team recognition.

Before arriving at UT Southern, Crownover served as the assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at Motlow State Community College for two seasons. During his time there, he helped launch the program, led the team to a Tennessee NJCAA Conference title, and guided them to the NJCAA Regional Tournament.
