Zeke Stockton enters his first season as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Tennessee Southern in 2026-27, bringing a diverse background in coaching, player development, scouting, analytics, and athletics administration.
Stockton arrives in Pulaski after gaining experience with two Division I women's basketball programs at Saint Louis University and the University of Alabama. Most recently, he served as a Graduate Assistant with the Saint Louis women's basketball program, where he assisted with opponent scouting, analytics, practice preparation, and game-day operations. During his time with the Billikens, Stockton also contributed to player development efforts while helping support a program that captured the 2024 WNIT Championship.
Before Saint Louis, Stockton spent two seasons as a practice player for the University of Alabama women's basketball program under Head Coach Kristy Curry. His experience with the Crimson Tide provided valuable insight into high-level player development, scouting preparation, and the daily operations of a successful Division I program that reached the NCAA Tournament in 2023.
In addition to his on-court responsibilities, Stockton has developed extensive experience in athletics compliance and administration. He served as an Athletics Compliance Extern at Saint Louis University, helping manage scholarship and eligibility processes while assisting with financial aid and revenue-sharing initiatives. He also gained experience in athletics risk management and compliance during an externship with the University of Notre Dame.
A strong believer in holistic student-athlete development, Stockton combines his basketball background with academic and leadership accomplishments. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Alabama before pursuing his Juris Doctor degree at Saint Louis University School of Law.
Known for his work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to serving student-athletes, Stockton brings a modern approach to coaching that blends player development, analytics, relationship building, and program management. At UT Southern, he assists in all aspects of the women's basketball program, including recruiting, skill development, scouting, practice planning, and game preparation.
