BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Martin Methodist's Adam Persson have been named Mid-South Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Persson gathered a total of 15 saves over the span of two matches for the RedHawks. On Tuesday, he notched four saves and a shutout performance in the 2-0 win over Thomas More, and then recorded 11 saves in 110 minutes during the 1-1 draw with No. 8 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).

This Persson's first MSC weekly honor of the season and of his career. The RedHawks return to the pitch on Tuesday night versus Campbellsville University.
