PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's soccer team fell to No. 11 Dalton State College in their first regular season game by a 2-0 score.

The FireHawks had four shots on goal in the contest, and saw several scoring opportunities, while the Roadrunners converted two of their five shots on goal.

UT Southern held DSC to a 1-0 edge for much of the match, giving up the second goal during the final minute. UTS goalkeeper Ajay Murray made three saves in his FireHawk debut.

UTS celebrated Senior Day prior to the contest, honoring four year senior Miguel Tizapa for his successful career. The forward begins his senior campaign with a total of 21 career goals and 27 career assists as a three-time All-Conference team selection.

UTS will host Ogelthorpe University at Grissom Pitch on Wednesday afternoon, with kickoff scheduled for 3pm.
