Tennessee Southern Firehawks (9-4; MSC 0-2) fell against the Campbellsville Tigers in three sets. Campbellsville (10-3; MSC 1-1) took advantage of UTS mistakes in the first two sets to win 25-9 and 25-12. The Firehawks rallied in the third set but CU answered the call to close the match 25-19.

Senior Brianna Turner recorded eight kills. Freshman Laura Howell 11 assists, and senior Summer Jackson had 6 digs.

The Firehawks will return home to the CAC to host preseason MSC favorite Lindsey Wilson. The JV team will play, at 4pm, prior to the varsity match at 6pm.
