Coach
Trevor Trimpe commented on the great Firehawk performance, "I was thrilled with how we competed, and although we didn't have the depth to come out on top in the team competition, we won several relays and individual events! The women started the meet by winning the 200 Medley Relay by just 4 hundredths of a second, 1:53.01 to 1:53.05!
Michael McDaniel picked up the men's team's first win getting his hand on the wall first in the 200 free by just 3 tenths of a second!
Anastasia Newton clocked a lifetime best in the 200 Fly and hit at NAIA National provisional cut, a time that would have qualified for Nationals last year!"
NEXT UP
The Firehawks will have a short turnaround as they travel to Columbus, Ga., to race in the Georgia Small College Invite hosted by Life University. The three-day event will kickoff on Thursday, November 21 at the Columbus Aquatics Center.
