MURRAY, Ky. - The University of Tennessee Southern track and field squads competed in Margaret Simmons Invite on Friday and Saturday. The Firehawks battled some tough NCAA and NAIA programs and had some great performances over the weekend.

Amelia Worsley finished fourth in the 10000 meters in a time of 44:47.87. Alyssa Andrea placed 10^th in the 5000-meter race in 19:34.41. Andrea also finished 22^nd in the 1500-meter run clocking in at 5:16.75.
