MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the 2024-25 Men's Basketball award recipients on Wednesday night. Several Firehawks earned honors at the SSAC banquet.
Zaiden Cross was named First-Team All-SSAC, and
Vito Vujovic earned Second-Team All-SSAC.
Cross immediately became an impact player for the Firehawks in the second half of the season. He scored a season high 28 points in UTS' win at William Carey and has averaged 20.2 points per game in 15 appearances.
Vojovic averaged 13.5 points per contest appearing in 26 games. Vujovic scored a season high 26 points against Mobile.

Jack Harper, and Vujovic earned Barnes & Noble College All-Academic honors.
Tyler Dudley was UT Southern's Champions of Character Team representative.
UTS earned the fourth seed in the SSAC East Division after going 9-8 in league play. The Firehawks defeated the fifth seed from the West, Brewton-Parker this afternoon 86-79. The Firehawks will battle the overall top and East first seed #18 Dalton State tomorrow evening at 6:30 p.m.
