PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern Women's Golf team is set for a competitive fall campaign, with a four-tournament schedule spanning Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia.
The Firehawks will open the season Sept. 8-9 at the Blue Raider Invite hosted by Lindsey Wilson at Dale Hollow Golf Course in Burkesville, Ky. One week later, they'll head to Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., for the Seahawk Shoot-Out hosted by Keiser University at the prestigious PGA National, Sept. 15-16.
Returning to the Volunteer State, UT Southern will compete in the FHU Fall Invite hosted by Freed-Hardeman Sept. 29-30 at Chickasaw Golf Club in Henderson, Tenn. The Firehawks will wrap up their fall slate at the Lady Roadrunner Invite hosted by Dalton State, Oct. 20-21, at Dalton Country Club in Dalton, Ga.
The team is led by senior Iona Pollitt, who finished in the top 30 at the NAIA National Championship last season—her second consecutive appearance at the event. Head Coach John Dochety enters his sixth season guiding the Firehawks and looks to build on that postseason success with a deep and experienced roster.
