OAKLAND CITY, Ind. – The University of Tennessee Southern women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw on the road Saturday night against Oakland City, moving to 1-0-1 on the season.
The Firehawks' defense remained solid throughout the match, holding the Mighty Oaks scoreless while limiting them to seven total shots and just five on goal. Goalkeeper Stephanie Hodgson recorded five saves, ensuring the clean sheet and keeping UTS unbeaten on the season.
On the attacking end, UTS generated several scoring chances but was unable to break through Oakland City's defense.
