PULASKI, Tenn. – Due to a forecasted wintry weather system expected to impact the region, the University of Tennessee Southern has announced schedule adjustments for upcoming men's and women's basketball games in order to prioritize the safety of student-athletes, staff, and fans.
UT Southern will still host Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Curry Athletic Complex, but tip-off times have been moved earlier in the day. The women's game, originally scheduled for 5:30 p.m., will now begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 4:00 p.m. The games were originally slated for 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, UT Southern's home doubleheader against Thomas University has been rescheduled. The Firehawks were originally scheduled to face Thomas on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. That doubleheader has been moved up to Friday, January 23, 2026, with the women's game tipping off at 12:00 p.m., followed by the men's game at 2:00 p.m.
