Biography

2016: Started in all 63 contests in the outfield for the RedHawks throughout the 2016 season… Awarded 2nd team All-Conference honors at the conclusion of her sophomore campaign… Named to the 2016 Southern States Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team...Led the RedHawks in three separate categories during the season: hits (76), runs scored (47), and batting average (.369). Defensively, Ferguson only committed three errors as a corner outfielder.

2015: Appeared in 34 of the RedHawks 47 contests... Made 33 starts in the outfield for the RedHawks... Posted a .261 average and drove in 14 runs... Scored 10 runs and smacked 29 hits... Recorded six doubles and two triples on the season.

High School: Was a four-year outfielder at Lincoln County High School in Fayetteville, Tennessee… Was named MTSCA AAA All-Middle Tennessee First Team in 2013… All District 8-AAA in 2013 and 2014… Earned Most RBIs award and Golden Glove in 2013… Named Most Valuable Player for 2013-14… Earned Senior Athletic Award.

Personal: Daughter of Jerry Ferguson and Mandy Tucker… Has one sister, Brooke… Majoring in Physical Education, and plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Special Education after graduation… A member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Student Athletic Advisory Council.
