As a freshman at Smyrna High School, she earned the 2019 Freshman of the Year award. In 2022, she was named to the All-Tournament team and in 2023, she was named to the All-District team.

She is the daughter of Mollie and Jason Ward. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, and she can pop both arms out of the socket.
