Milam is in his fourth year as an assistant coach in the UT Southern program. "I owe Coach Hill a great deal of thanks for putting his trust in me to join his program in the fall of 2020. I hope to help this program in every aspect I can to see continued success moving into the future."

Milam graduated from Stanhope Elmore High School in 2014. He attended Marion Military Institute from 2014-2016. While there he pitched for two years on the baseball team. After graduating with an associate degree in 2016, Milam attended Alabama A&M University. While there I played two years of NCAA Division 1 baseball under head coach Mitch Hill. After the 2018 season, I came to Martin Methodist as a student assistant for Coach Hill. I graduated from Martin Methodist in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics.
