2016: Townsend appeared in all 30 RedHawk contests as a senior, making 23 starts… Finished second on the team in free-throw percentage (76.7%) and fifth in total rebounds (130). Averaged 5.0 points paired with 4.3 rebounds on the year… Townsend was named to the Champions of Character Team on behalf of the Southern States Athletic Conference following the season.

2012-13: Appeared in 20 games… Made his first career start on Nov. 17 at Oakwood (Ala.) University... Averaged 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in his first season as a reserve forward… Scored a career-high 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting in return matchup against Oakwood on Nov. 29… Also tracked down career-high six rebounds in second matchup against Oakwood... Took just 41 field goal attempts, but sank 17 jumpers (.415).
