RedHawks Alter Final Home Series, Senior Day

PULASKI, Tenn. – Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Martin Methodist Baseball team has altered its upcoming weekend series versus Brewton-Parker (Ga.) College and will also alter its 2018 Senior Day ceremonies.

The RedHawks will now have Senior Day on Friday, April 13, at Bobby Walker Field at the conclusion of Friday's doubleheader.

The RedHawks will honor eight seniors during the ceremony as Michael Benusches (SR/Knoxville, Tenn.), Ben Hargrove (SR/Ardmore, Tenn.), Aaron Hobbs (SR/Lewisburg, Tenn.), Alex McKelvy (SR/Columbia, Tenn.), Tanner Reed (SR/Moulton, Ala.), Dalton Searcy (SR/Knoxville, Tenn.), Logan Underhill (SR/McMinnville, Tenn.) and Alex Vanderford (SR/Leighton, Ala.) all will be recognized.

First pitch in Friday's doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. The opening game of the series will now be played on Thursday, April 12, at 4 p.m.

That series will serve as the final regular season home for the RedHawks before they begin play in the SSAC Baseball Championship in Montgomery, Alabama May 3-5. The RedHawks will play two more weekend series at Bethel (Tenn.) University and Faulkner (Ala.) University prior to the conference tournament.
