Pulaski, Tenn. - The Tennenssee Southern volleyball team upset University of the Cumberlands (14-7, 5-4 MSC) tonight 27-25, 23-25, 27-25, 25-11, 15-12.

The Firehawks (17-7, 4-5 MSC) were lead by Maca Ruiz with 19 kills and Briana Turner added 18 kills. Laura Howell had 46 assists and 16 digs. Summer Jackson added 21 digs for the Firehawks. 

Coach Jackson Lenoir prasied his teams win, "Big win for our team today! Proud of our girls for sticking with the game plan and battling throughout eah set. We must now get ready for a tough Lindsey Wilson team on Tuesday."
