Crestview Hills, Ky. - The University of Tennessee Southern volleyball team completed regular season play with a 3-0 loss to Thomas More 15-25, 15-25, 22-25.

The Firehawks hit only .072 for the match. Maca Ruiz led with 12 kills, and Laura Howell tallied 21 assists. Summer Jackson had 16 digs.

"We must regroup and bounce back as the conference tournament is just a few days away," commented Coach Jackson Lenoir. "We played much better in the third set against a scrappy Thomas More team, but it was just a little too late. We hope to be healthy and reenergized this coming Thursday, we want to have a great tournament."

UTS have secured the #7 seed in the MSC Championship and will play in the opening round next week in Bowling Green, Ky.  The Firehawks will face the loser of the Georgetown at Bethel match being played this afternoon. UTS swept Bethel in season series 2-0 (3-0, 3-1) and lost to Georgetown 3-2.
