CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team gave #1 Thomas More a scare but fell down the stretch in a 72-63 result on Thursday.

Brady Brown led the Firehawks with 21 points and 11 boards. Adarion Hudson added 15 points. Tad Sivley and Kavion Hancock followed suit with 12 and 11 respectively.  

TMU held the bucket lead at the half at 29-27. The Firehawks would continue to chip away at the Saints' lead and would find themselves down three with just over three minutes left. TMU would pull away down the stretch to give the Firehawks their first MSC loss.

UTS would shoot 25 of 61 for 41% from the field. There would be four lead changes and three ties.

The Firehawks will travel to Wilberforce, Ohio for an MSC matchup with Wilberforce on Saturday, December 3rd. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m.
