Pulaski, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern baseball team held a late lead, but Thomas More slipped by 7-6.

GAME THREE

• The Firehawks produced 11 hits in the nine-inning affair. Brantley Holden and Chandler Jordan both burned the grass with three hits each. Will Clemons added a pair of hits including a solo round-tripper.
• UTS struck out nine times and reached on three walks.
• The Firehawks left nine runners on base.
• Holden and Jordan had two RBI apiece.
• Logan Parrott pitched a strong 7.2 innings allowing four runs on six hits. Parrott fanned seven. Josh Simmons took the loss and fell to 0-1 on the season. He allowed one run on two hits.

UTS will travel to the Rocket City to try to avenge a 12-7 loss to Alabama-Huntsville. The Firehawks and Chargers will begin at 4 pm.
