MOBILE, Ala. – The University of Tennessee Southern volleyball team traveled to South Alabama to battle Mobile. The Rams took the match in three sets on Saturday.
UT Southern (5-8, 2-4) went toe-to toe with Mobile in the first set. The opening set was tied 12 times with the hoe team taking three out of the last four points. In the second set, the Firehawks fell behind 9-3 in the early going. UM would continue to pull away from UTS to take set two 15-25. In the final set, both teams would trade points back and forth early in the set. With the score tied at nine, a five-point Ram run would be the decision maker in the final set.
