MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025 SSAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon. Kamilia Tayebi of UT Southern was named SSAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October 6–11.

The junior defender from Casablanca, Morocco, continued her impressive form for the Firehawks, earning her fourth career weekly honor—and her first as an offensive player.

Tayebi tallied five goals across two conference wins, including a pair of game-winners. She scored twice in a 4-1 win over Point, then followed up with a hat trick in another 4-1 victory at Faulkner.

The Firehawks' veteran has now totaled eight goals on the season, leading the way for a UT Southern squad that has found its stride in SSAC play.
