NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The UT Southern volleyball team traveled to Fisk University on Wednesday night, where they dropped a three-set match at Henderson Johnson Arena. Due to technical issues, complete match statistics were not available until late Wednesday night.

UT Southern's offense struggled to find rhythm against a strong blocking presence from Fisk, who finished with nine total team blocks compared to UTS's five. Despite the result, the Firehawks' defensive tenacity kept each set competitive.
The Firehawks return to action on Friday, October 24, when they travel to Loyola (La.) for an SSAC matchup. UTS will look to avenge their straight-set loss to the Wolf Pack earlier this month in Pulaski.
