Head coach
Justin Watson added this about the meet, "Altogether it was a cool meet for our season opener. The weather was unkind to us, plus a massive shift in scheduling due to the inclement weather. Regardless, our team performed well against the stout D2 competition. Freshman
Lee Steakley and
Bruno Villazon were massive standouts and there were multiple program bests and conference leads from Amon, Claire, Lou-Anne, Jacob, Bruno, Frank, and Lee."
