PULASKI, Tenn. – On a picture perfect September night, more than 150 runners and Martin Methodist supporters turned up at the school's East Campus athletic facilities for the Second Annual RedHawk Glow Run last Friday night.

With all the proceeds benefiting the school's continued East Campus upgrades and renovations, the event featured runners of all ages and experience levels as runners were flighted into 14 different groups.

Taking home the top overall honors was Martin Methodist's very own Men's Soccer head coach Chris Leonardi, who ran the 3.3-mile course in just under 20 minutes with a time of 19:38. As fate would have it, Men's Soccer assistant coach Bret Boylan finished runner-up in the event as he posted a time of 21:46.

Alison Venable, mother of Women's Soccer standout Meagan Venable, finished as the top female performer with her time of 29:39. RedHawk Softball player Kaelin Dawson finished just over half a minute behind Venable as she took home runner-up honors in the female division with a time of 30:15.

"The Glow Run was an idea that we had mulled over for a number of years," RedHawks Executive Director of Athletics Jeff Bain said. "We had great success with our first-ever event last year and I think the small tweaks we made to the event this year made for an even better experience. We are truly thankful for all of our great community supporters that showed up to make this another successful event."
