MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Martin Methodist Men's Basketball team was honored Wednesday night at the annual Southern States Athletic Conference Banquet in Montgomery, Alabama.
Six RedHawks were represented with league-wide recognition amongst the All-Conference, All-Academic and Champions of Character Teams.
Caleb Chowbay garnered First Team All-SSAC honors in his final season as a RedHawk. Chowbay led the RedHawks in scoring at 16.5 points per game and was the third leading scorer in the SSAC.
Albert Lynch was second on the squad in scoring at 16.1 points per game in his one-year stint with the RedHawk program. Lynch was named as a First Team All-Conference performer at the conclusion of the regular season.
Senior Broderick Davis finished the regular season as a Second Team All-SSAC performer. Davis was third on the RedHawks in scoring at 15.8 points per game. Davis amassed nine 20-plus point efforts throughout the regular season.

Josh Maher was recognized for his outstanding efforts both on-and-off the court. Maher was noted for his tireless efforts in the classroom, as well as his efforts in the Pulaski community. At the conclusion of the regular season, Maher was honored on both the All-Academic and Champions of Character Award List.
Additionally, Connor Peach and Wesley Harlan were honored for their good works in the classroom as exemplary student athletes, as both were named to the All-Academic Award List.
No. 3 seed Martin Methodist will begin play in the SSAC Conference Tournament on Thursday morning, facing No. 6 Bethel (Tenn.).
Tipoff is set for 10:45 a.m. from the Multiplex at the Cramton Bowl.
