Firehawks Snap Blue Raiders Win Streak

Pulaski, Tenn.- The University of Tennessee Southern women's basketball team snapped Lindsey Wilson's four-game winning streak with a 67-63 win on Saturday. The Firehawks used two 20 point quarters in the second half to beat the Blue Raiders.

  • Four Firehawks recorded 10 points or more. Faith Sherrow 21, Keonna Chumbley 10, Aaryn Grace Lester 10, Taylor McNairy 10.
  • UTS pulled down 23 rebounds, but LWC controlled 31.
  • The Firehawks would record 10 steals.
  • LWC held the Firehawks scoreless for just under eight minutes in the first half.
  • The Firehawks would control the final 2:27 of the game outscoring the Blue Raiders 7-3 to improve to 10-3 (5-2).
