Pulaski, Tenn.- The University of Tennessee Southern women's basketball team fell to Bethel Monday 65-54. 

FIREHAWK FACTS

• One Firehawk recorded 10 points or more. Faith Sherrow 14.
• UTS pulled down 22 rebounds, seven less than the BU.
• The Firehawks would swipe seven steals, three more than the Wildcats.

NUMBERS GAME

   7 – Seven players scored for UTS, with four scoring eight or more.

 12 – UTS had 12 assists, four less than BU.

 18 – The Firehawks forced 18 turnovers, only committing 12.

   9 – The Firehawks struggled to scratch the scorecard in the final quarter being outscored by nine, 15-6.

   2 – With only two games left in the regular season, UTS occupies 8th in the MSC standings. The Firehawks are fighting to hold the final opening round host position for the MSC Tournament.

1.5 – UTS has a one-and-a-half-game lead over Lindsey Wilson, and they are just one game back of Freed-Hardeman and Pikeville.

NEXT UP

The Firehawks will travel to Columbia, Ky. to face Lindsey Wilson. The Firehawks and Blue Raiders will face off on Thursday, February 17 at 6 pm. UTS won the first meeting this season in Pulaski 67-63.
