Box Score LEBANON, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team struggled from long range but exploded for an exciting 89-87 win over Cumberland on Saturday. The Firehawks relacquered the paint orange, outscoring the Phoenix 52-30. Cumberland (4-6) shot 43 percent, draining 13 triples in their home arena. UT Southern (10-2) shot 57 percent from the field finding a way leave Lebanon with their tenth win of the season. Five Firehawks scored in double digits. Brady Brown led all scorers with 20 points and eight rebounds. Adarion Hudson chipped in 18 points, four assists, and three steals. Tad Sivley scratched with 14 points and seven rebounds. Kendall Wright missed a double double, scoring 13 points and pulling down nine rebounds. Malik Tyson added 12 points.

UT Southern will return to the CAC, hosting Blue Mountain Christian on Saturday, December 16th. The Toppers and Firehawks will tip-off at 2 p.m.
