GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The University of Tennessee Southern women's basketball couldn't weather a cold shooting night in Georgetown's 88-46 loss.

Aaryn Grace Lester led the Firehawks scoring 12 points. Mary Mackie added 10 points. 

Georgetown took control early and never let up. The Tigers led 22-8 after one. Georgetown would lead at the break 43-24.

The Tigers would continue to pull away shooting 50% to lead 15-30 in the second half to take the MSC win.

UTS would shoot 14 of 48 for 29% from the field. There would not be any lead changes or ties.

NEXT UP

The Firehawks will travel to Williamsburg, Ky. to play the Patriots on Saturday, February 11th. The tip-off is slated for noon.
