Box Score 2 PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern softball team played their fourth and fifth games in a pair of days dropping both to NCAA DII Christian Brothers on Tuesday. CBU took game one 2-0 and a took the night cap 10-4.
GAME ONE
CBU plated a run in the fifth and sixth to lead 2-0 after heading to the final inning.
Kamryn Murdock would toss five innings in the loss. Murdock would allow two earned runs on three six hits. Macey Ciramella would toss the final two innings. Ciramella would allow one hit.
GAME TWO
CBU plated a run in the first to lead 1-0 after one inning.
In the second, Sydney Self singled to right center scoring Kaitlynn Garner. UTS would knot-up the match at one.
CBU would put a crooked number on the board in the third to lead 5-1 heading to the UTS half of the third.
Haley Barnes would launch a two run bomb in the third scoring Hannah Branam. UTS would trail 5-3 after three.
CBU would sprinkle five runs across the fourth, sixth and seventh innings to hold the Firehawks down 10-3 heading to the final half of inning.
Allie Toone singled in the seventh scoring Emily Gable.
Ana Aaron would toss 2.1 innings in the loss. Aaron would allow four earned runs on five hits. Jayci Boozer would toss 1.1 innings allowing two earned runs. Ciramella would fire the final 3.1 innings allowing three earned runs on six hits.
NEXT UP
The Firehawks will travel to Columbus, Miss. to tomorrow for a twin bill with Mississippi University for Women. The first pitch is scheduled for 3 pm.
