CARROLLTON, Ga. – The University of Tennessee Southern track and field teams were in action over the weekend, competing in the UGA Legends Invitational. The Firehawks event was hosted by the University of West Georgia.
Bruno Villazon and
Frankline Kipruto finished in the top two spots in the 1500 meters. Villazon also paced the field in the 5000 meters.
Jacob Sanchez narrowly finished second in the Javelin
Claire Deaton had two top-five finishes. She was second best in the 5000 meters and fifth in the 1500 meters.
