KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Tennessee Southern softball remained nationally ranked in the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll No. 5, checking in at No. 25 as announced by the national office.
The Firehawks hold a 25-11 overall record and continue to be a presence in the national rankings, marking another consecutive appearance in the Top 25 this season.
UT Southern is one of three Southern States Athletic Conference programs ranked this week, joining No. 12 Mobile and No. 13 William Carey, highlighting the depth and competitiveness of the league.
The Firehawks now turn their focus to a key weekend at home, hosting a pair of nationally ranked opponents at Royce Hughes Field. UT Southern will face No. 12 Mobile and No. 13 William Carey in a pair of pivotal conference matchups that carry major implications in both the SSAC standings and national picture.
Tennessee Southern will look to defend its home field and continue building momentum as it closes in on the final stretch of the regular season.
