Track and Field Poised and Ready for a Successful Season

PULASKI, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee Southern Head Coach Justin Watson released the 2025 outdoor track and field schedule on Wednesday. UT Southern enters its second year of competition this spring. In the inaugural season, the Firehawks earned a top-10 finish in the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship. UTS has six meets on the docket for this spring.
The Firehawks will begin traveling to Montevallo, Ala., on March 14 to compete in the Falcon Classic. The following week, the squad will travel to Murray, Ky., for the Margaret Simmons Invite on March 21.
The Joe Walker Invite will be in Oxford, Miss., on April 4. UTS will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., for the SSAC Championships beginning April 25.
The final spring event, Lee University Last Chance, will be held on May 10 in Cleveland, Tenn.
