KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released its first regular-season edition of the Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, and the UT Southern Firehawks debut at No. 10 in the nation.
The Firehawks opened the season with a 3-2 win over LSU Alexandria and followed it up with a hard-fought 0-0 clean sheet at Oakland City (Ind.). With an early unbeaten record of 1-0-1, UT Southern has been led offensively by Hikaru Uchida, Kamilia Tayebi, and Millie Rayner, each netting one goal so far.
UT Southern faces a major test this week, traveling to the Orange Beach Classic facing No. 8 SCAD Savannah on September 4 before heading to No. 1 Keiser on September 6 in two pivotal non-conference matchups.
