KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UT Southern Men's Tennis held steady at No. 20 in the first regular-season NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Poll, released this week by the NAIA national office.
The Firehawks remained unchanged from the preseason rankings, earning 95 points as they continue to navigate a challenging early-season schedule. UT Southern is one of three SSAC programs ranked inside the Top 25, joining William Carey at No. 6 and Loyola at No. 23.
Keiser University maintained its grip on the No. 1 spot in the poll, collecting 10 first-place votes and 299 total points. Georgia Gwinnett followed closely in second with 290 points, while Tennessee Wesleyan rounded out the top three at 279. The top 12 teams remained unchanged from the preseason poll released in November.
Several teams made notable moves in the rankings, including Oakland City climbing two spots to No. 13, Missouri Baptist jumping to No. 16, and St. Thomas rising to No. 23.
UT Southern continues to build momentum early in the spring as one of the nation's Top 25 programs.
The next NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Poll is scheduled to be released on February 25.
